The world of variable data printing encompasses many RIPs, digital presses, workflows, file formats and software packages. Argon brings them all together with a single tool set that creates PDF previews to simulate a wide variety of presses and controllers.
Variable data jobs created using a file format or variable data language created for one press can be translated to an alternate language to run on a different system.
Supported languages include the industry-standard PPML and PPML/VDX formats, as well as Barco BTF, Creo VPS, Xerox VIPP and others. Argon software runs on many computer platforms including Windows, Macintosh, UNIX and Linux.
